Big Easy Run 2026
TX Elite Rally: Big Easy Run 2026 — Post Rally Recap
The engines have cooled, the miles are behind us, and the stories are already becoming legend.
The TX Elite Rally: Big Easy Run 2026 delivered a three-day driving experience that combined performance, precision, and community across Texas and Louisiana. From the first pre-rally meet-up to the final stretch home, this event showcased exactly what makes TX Elite Rally unique: well-executed routes, premium destinations, and an unmatched group of drivers.
Pre-Rally Build-Up
The rally experience began well before the official start.
Install days in Prosper and Keller gave participants time to prepare their vehicles, connect with other drivers, and get fully dialed in with decals and radio setups. These early moments helped set the tone for the weekend—organized, high-energy, and community-driven.
The momentum carried into the BBQ & BOOST gathering at Hoshi Ranch, where drivers, staff, and media teams aligned ahead of departure. By the end of the night, anticipation was high and the group was ready to hit the road.
Day 1: Texas to Lake Charles
Day 1 kicked off in Midlothian, Texas, with a driver meeting and breakfast before departure. A police escort out of the starting point marked the official beginning of the rally.
The route took participants through East Texas with key stops in Palestine and Nacogdoches for fuel, regrouping, and media capture. The drive balanced spirited stretches with well-timed breaks, keeping the convoy tight and coordinated.
By late afternoon, the group arrived in Lake Charles, Louisiana at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino. With secure parking and a range of dining and entertainment options, the evening offered the perfect mix of relaxation and nightlife.
Participants explored local Cajun restaurants, gathered at the hotel, and settled in after a strong opening day.
Day 2: Lake Charles to New Orleans
Day 2 brought a shift in scenery and energy as the rally moved deeper into Louisiana.
The route featured long, scenic stretches and a group lunch stop at Reno’s On The River, giving participants time to recharge before the final push into New Orleans.
One of the defining moments of the rally came with the police-escorted entry into the New Orleans area. Crossing into the city as a unified group created a memorable and high-impact arrival.
The rally concluded its driving portion at the Royal Sonesta on Bourbon Street, placing participants in the center of the French Quarter.
The evening included a group dinner at Jolie, followed by open exploration of New Orleans nightlife. It was a fitting close to the main rally experience—elevated, social, and unforgettable.
Day 3: Return to Texas
Sunday offered flexibility for participants to either explore New Orleans or join the organized return drive to Texas.
For those making the return trip, the route spanned nearly 500 miles with multiple fuel and rest stops through Louisiana and East Texas. The pace was more relaxed, allowing drivers to reflect on the weekend and enjoy the final hours together.
The last regroup at Buc-ee’s in Terrell marked the unofficial end of the rally, as participants began heading home.
